Our Colleagues at the Fextralife Team Introduce a Dedicated Space for Custom Content
The customization community has never been bigger or highly requested as it is today. Developers who designed fresh gameplay elements for beloved games such as Skyrim and Baldur’s Gate III have secured significant positions in gaming. Complete titles were created leveraging prior work. An individual even managed how to make Silksong slightly less challenging.
Truly, in this era, anything seems possible with an idea, coding skills, and some determination. Hence, it’s understandable that a growing segment of the market is looking to support that ever-growing modding community, and that our friends from Fextralife are participating in the initiative. Recently, the resource hub declared it would expand its offerings with the FXMods platform, a “brand-new gaming mod platform designed for gamers who desire a quick, complimentary, and unrestricted customizations to improve their favorite games.
FXMods promises to be a free platform with full-speed downloading, immediate availability, and connection to the extensive Fextralife knowledge base, which aims to allow developers to obtain increased recognition as gamers find their content within a broader collection.
What is the vision for FXMods? I asked Fextralife’s Matt Hook, who has been fully engaged in shepherding the project.
“What we're doing here is really trying to put the users first,” Hook explains. “We want a excellent journey for those downloading mods to be able to obtain custom content swiftly and simply, and we want to recognize content developers and participants in the scene with recognition and incentives.”
